It's not very open-minded or "tolerant" to call people that think differently than you do "idiots". As sad as I was that Senator McCain lost the election that night, I now (after a little time) am unbelievably proud of our country for electing Barack Obama. Although I don't agree with a lot of his politics, I don't take politics personally, like some people do.
But everyone is allowed an opinion, and we certainly don't have to agree (that's why we live in America!), but we should always be respectful.
